Nearly ten years ago, Ange Dove and Joyce Teo first met as fellow students in a training room. Both were on a quest to understand communication at a deeper level — drawn to NLP, personality profiling, and consciousness work — and, as it turned out, guided by many of the same mentors along the way. That shared foundation sparked a friendship that grew over the years, built on curiosity, exploration, and countless conversations about how people learn, grow, and connect.
It was in those conversations that the true collaboration revealed itself. The book faded into the background, and a bigger vision came into focus: a business born not from chance, but from the melding of two minds, two journeys, and one mission.
Joyce Teo doesn’t just hear what’s said — she sees what’s hidden. As a former optometrist, she spent years helping people see more clearly in a literal sense. Today, she applies that same instinct to communication, helping leaders and teams see themselves and each other without distortion. She’s trained to catch the fine details everyone else misses. Ange has spent her career obsessed with the way words shape outcomes. As a former language teacher and professional copywriter turned communications consultant and NLP-certified coach, she’s spent decades helping people find their voice and their influence. After 20 years running her own business, she returned to the corporate space as a consultant and noticed something alarming: we’ve forgotten how to really talk to each other.

Outside the boardroom, Ange is a saxophone-playing, ageing rock-chick Brit who’s called Singapore home for more than 30 years. She’s built businesses, raised two kids to be amazing adults, and knows first-hand that communication isn’t just a corporate skill — it’s the heartbeat of how we connect as humans.
